R.I.P. Gil Scott-Heron

This is an amazing video 'Me And The Devil' and although the musical style is not typically something I'm into, I had a lot of respect for the man in life, and now in death...

Fell into your web looking for tarot images of death. This is a very cool video, which I most likely would never have known about otherwise. Thanks.

As an aside, self-centered people are usually too self-centered to know they are self-centered. One would need to "step outside" oneself to be able to assess personality type or worse yet (for your self-absorbed sort) to observe oneself from another's point of view (This is my opinion anyway, shouldn't mean much to you. But, well, there it is nonetheless).

You're welcome.

Means much to me actually. Opinions worth having always do. I agree... but "I choose" to be self-centered. So there you have it.

Thanks very much for your comment.

Did you find any good Death images? This gives me a good idea... I'll do an entire post on Death. I have over 30 tarot decks in my collection... of course Death is the most interesting card. It should have its own post.

Thank you for visiting. Please come back again.

Ah - now see I thought you, being self-centered and all, would not waste your time with the opinions of others. Obviously I cannot shoehorn you in to an easily managed catagory...

You know have my curiosity peaked! Quotes from Mark Twain? I can't resist! One of my fave quotes of all time is from Mr. Twain -

There is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream, a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought --a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities!

I suppose what I refer to when I say 'self-centered' is that I choose to consider the world from my point of view and not to concern myself with how I might be received in a broader sense... which basically amounts to me politely saying I don't care what others think of me... not that I don't care about others.

Love the Twain quote. I hadn't heard that one before. I am so pleased. You've made my day!
